What is your refund policy?

Tickets/Meals/Drinks Packages cannot be refunded but can be transferred to a different date if you contact us 14 days or more before the scheduled performance date for all shows At Blackstock Market only.

Refunds cannot be given for any events taking place at external venues (ie. Not at Blackstock Market)

Pre booked meals at our Parlour Restaurant can be rearranged up to 48 hours before your booking provided you contact us using our contact us form on our website.  All pre booked meals at our Parlour restaurant will include a £10 per person non refundable deposit for any no shows.  You will be able to recieve a credit note for any remaining balance.

What happens if an act that is advertised changes?
From time to time we have to replace acts for various reasons. If this happens we will always replace with a like for like act that we're sure will do a fantastic job. In this instance our normal booking change policy applies.

I have a complaint, what next?
If you have a complaint about something that is disrupting your experience, please query this with the staff on the night. We will do all we can to quickly rectify this for you.

If you would like to make a formal complaint after the event, or wish to send us some feedback, we welcome you to do so. Please contact us on through the form on our help centre.

We respond in every instance in due course, once the matter has been investigated.

Do you have security?
Yes, our shows will have security staff in attendance who may perform bag searches or ask for ID upon entry to the comedy club. Please do not feel offended by this as it is just to ensure that we provide a safe environment for everybody in attendance.

I have a gift voucher. How do I redeem it?

Add your tickets as normal on our website and enter your gift voucher when you see the box for discount code/gift voucher at the top of the page on checkout.

Gift Vouchers can be used againts any online product or event at Hot Water Promotions and have no expiry.

Gift vouchers are sent through the post and have a unique code on that can be used when redeeming online through our normal checkout when booking tickets.

Do you have a smoking area?
Our Blackstock Market venue has a smoking area on the rooftop terrace

Do you have an age restriction for your shows?
All of our 'An Audience With' Events allow under 18's in as long as they are in with an over 18 year old. This is allowed fo fall shows ending before 10pm at our Blackstock Market venue only. Please check directly with the venue for all external events.

What disabled facilities do you have?
Blackstock Market is fully wheelchair accessible

Can I heckle or talk during the show?
No, heckling and talking amongst your group while the performers are on stage is allowed. This also ruins the show for nearby audience members. We kindly ask that if you plan to heckle or talk whilst the acts are on stage that you do this at another venue. Anybody repeatedly talking or heckling during any show will be asked to leave without refund. 

Will I be picked on if I sit near the front?
No, friendly banter may be part of the night so you may be spoken to at some point during the show but we do not book any acts who would specifically pick on any audience member.

Where is the nearest parking space, bus station or train station?
Blackstock Mracket has on street free parking.

I ended up working late and missed last nights show, can i get a refund?
Unfortunately not, your seat would've been waiting for you right up until the show started meaning we could not sell it on to somebody else.

What time do the shows finish?
Please check the event you're attending for all show start and finish times

Is there a booking fee?
Yes, we charge booking fees to cover the cost of us completing the transaction which includes payment provider fees and admin fees. 

How is the show laid out?
The majority of our shows have theatre style seating. All seating is unreserved as you'll be seated on the night.

Where is the bar area & can we take food/drinks into the main performance room?
The bar area in all of our venues is a separate space than the main theatre where our performances take place. Drinks can be taken inside the performance room for all shows. Bar snacks are also available at the bar.

Do you offer concession tickets and what does it cover?
Any shows that offer concessions will clearly display this on the ticket booking page.

Senior Citizens (60 and over), Students(library card accepted), NHS Staff, Teachers, Armed Forces, Services (Police, Fire & Ambulance), Registered Disabled (with free entry for one carer) all qualify for our concession discount.

If purchasing a concession priced ticket(s) please ensure that the person the ticket(s) is intended for meets the correct criteria and brings proof of eligibility to show at the booking desk on arrival. You will need a separate proof of concession for each individual concession ticket.

If a concession ticket is purchased and no ID shown on arrival then you will be asked to pay the difference to make your ticket a normal priced one.

Is there a dress code?
We ask that all customers be dressed, just wear whatever makes you comfortable , but we do ask that anything that may obstruct the view of another person in the audience not be worn. Fancy dress is also not allowed in the performance room. Smart shorts are allowed but no sportswear.

What is the latest we can arrive?
Please arrive no later than 15 minutes before the scheduled show start time. This will leave time for you to get drinks at the bar and take your seats before the show starts. We will do our best to seat latecomers but this may be at the next interval to avoid any disruption to the show. If you arrive after the show starts your tickets may be sold on to walk ups without refund. 

What is your Cancellation/Transfer policy?

Tickets can be transferred to another date if requested 14 days or more before the scheduled performance date for all shows at Hot Water Promotions.

Refunds cannot be given for any events.

What happens if a show is cancelled?

If a show is cancelled a credit note will be given to the customer for tickets purchased.

I've bought tickets but havent received them?
All of our online tickets are e-tickets that you should receive as soon as payment has been sent. Please check your junk or spam folder as they sometimes hide in there. You can view/download all tickets by logging in to your online account

How do I book tickets?
All of our ticketing is done online. Our shows gets very busy and are often sold out in advance. You are able to purchase tickets on the door for any shows that aren't sold out.

When will I receive my ticket?
You will receive your ticket straight away as an e-ticket once your order is placed.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payments by credit or debit card. For larger groups and companies we can also invoice directly and take payment via bank transfer.
